"My wife and I engaged Christie Brothers Building to erect a new home for us at Opal Lane Wanaka.  This is a substantial four bedroom house with a large garage to accommodate two cars and a boat. The design also incorporates a swimming pool. The lounge and dining room are counter-levered over the pool. There is also a large “outdoor” room.

We are absolutely thrilled with the house which Christie Brothers have built for us. Their workmanship was of a very high standard, they were always willing to go the extra mile and remained fully engaged throughout the building process. Matt Christie was great to deal with. He was always available to discuss build issues, ensured his subcontractors performed to a high level, and adopted a philosophy of “nothing is a problem, just let me know.”  We could not have asked for more.

Matt and his team suggested several design “tweaks” along the way. They were generally very sensible suggestions. Where required he resolved issues with our architect and engineer, making the building process as easy and stress free as possible.
