With over 19 years of experience in the construction industry, Brad Christie has built a solid reputation for delivering high-quality projects while fostering strong client relationships. Originally from Dunedin, Brad completed his apprenticeship in Dunedin before becoming a Foreman with Jennian Homes. His dedication to the craft and eye for detail have been key to his success in the industry.
Brad moved to Wanaka with his wife and now two young sons 9 years ago, where he quickly became an integral part of the local construction community. As the Managing Director and Project Manager at Christie Brothers he brings a passion for the creative side of building and loves collaborating closely with clients to bring their vision to life.
Whether it’s a custom home or a renovation, Brad’s approach is always centered on quality, precision, and a commitment to achieving the client's dream.

Matt Christie
Managing Director & Project Manager
Matt has been building for 20 years and after honing his skills in Dunedin, he made the move to Wanaka 9 years ago with his wife and now young daughter. As Managing Director and Project Manager at Christie Brothers, Matt brings a “nothing’s a problem” attitude to every project. He’s always on-site, hands-on, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. His goal is simple – get the job done right and ensure everyone walks away happy.
Matt is all about building strong relationships with clients and his team. He takes the time to truly understand what his clients want and works hard to bring that vision to life. Beyond that, Matt is deeply committed to supporting and nurturing his staff, guiding them on their own learning pathways.

Mikaela Mason
Operations Manager
Mikaela started with Christie Brothers four years ago, beginning as a versatile team member and quickly becoming an essential part of the company. Now, as Operations Manager, she handles everything from Health & Safety and business operations to finance management, marketing, HR, and PA duties.
Mikaela thrives on finding solutions and is known for her strong communication skills, efficiency, and system-driven work ethic. She keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

James joined Christie Brothers Building 7 years ago, starting as an apprentice with a strong drive to learn. His dedication earned him runner-up for Apprentice of the Year in 2019, and he quickly rose to become our leading Foreman.
Now, James leads our largest crew with experience, patience, and precision, ensuring every project runs smoothly and to the highest standard.

Adam has been a vital part of the Christie Brothers team for 5 years. He runs his crews with a strong work ethic and high efficiency, always ensuring projects stay on track. Known for his hardworking nature and problem-solving skills, Adam also has a reliable, approachable persona that makes him a trusted part of the team.
Ryan Thompson
Building Foreman
Ryan has been with Christie Brothers for 4 years, bringing 17 years of experience in the building industry with him. As Foreman, Ryan excels in forward planning, ensuring projects are well-organised and run efficiently from start to finish. His clear communication and leadership skills keep his sites on track, creating a smooth workflow for the entire team.

Olly has been with Christie Brothers for 5 years, with 12 years of building experience under his belt. As Foreman, he’s known for never missing a deadline and always giving 100% on-site. His hard work, capability, and eagerness to please make him a reliable and valuable member of the team.

Harry runs a very organised site, keeping his crew happy and motivated with clear communication and a calm, efficient approach. For Harry, nothing is an issue – he’s always ready to handle any challenge that comes his way.

Now calling New Zealand home, Sam is eager to sink his teeth into local projects and build up his Kiwi experience. His positive attitude and can-do approach make him a breeze to work with — a true asset on-site and off.
